With new beginnings comes reflection on the past.
I have one foot looking forward, the other looking back.
Total transparency:
I’ve felt a push and pull trying to write this blog.
The problem is, everyone is using ChatGPT to do the thinking and talking.
This is where I get stuck.
We no longer need to do the heavy lifting.
We can outsource everything...
But now I’m thinking:
Can we?
Should we?
Reflecting in this new season, I realise some things shouldn’t be handed to robots and chatbots.
The spa industry is a hands-on, personal-touch industry.
Please, let’s not allow that to change.
It’s human to touch each other with our words while getting our makeup applied, a haircut, and our nails done.
Some things aren’t replaceable.
Our service industry is one of a kind, and so are we, each one of us.
We are each fuelled by a business dream.
Mine was to create products you’d want to put your creative spin on, and to make margins so strong your dreams could come true.
Brand your products with your name.
You have the potential to create whatever you dream.
I am a huge believer in manifestation.
We live our lives according to what we put out and what we believe we deserve.
So get ready to dream big.
I’m not here to sell you a product.
That’s not what this is about.
It’s about following your heart.
If you want to build a business with like-minded souls, you may have found your place.
When I was asked for this month’s blog—and I was struggling to find what was in my heart—these words came to mind.
